Write a proportion that can be used to convert 50 meters into kilometers. Solve the proportion

so in a kilometer, there is 1,000 meters
so if you have 50 meters you can divide by 1,000 meters like:
50 meters/1 = 1 km/1,000 meters
which should get you 0.05 km
