B. Secondary
The secondary type of healthcare
is provided by specialists such as
cardiologists, dermatologists urologists etc. who do not necessarily
have first contact with patients. The patient may access the care through
physician or self referral.
A patient referred to a
cardiologist for further evaluation is an example of a secondary type of care.
