He’s Growing potatoes so he can have a potato farm and the eventually win best potato award because he decided to just focus on potato growing. He would then become world famous for his potato’s and make a lot of money but if he grew the other stuff he wouldn’t win awards and would just be average so, Tom is making a good decision
