  • Slope Formula: [tex]\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]

So using the slope formula, plug in the two points and solve for it as such:

[tex]\frac{0-6}{9-(-5)}=-\frac{6}{14}\div \frac{2}{2}=-\frac{3}{7}[/tex]

The slope is -3/7.
