Hi!

To find the prime factorization of a number, keep dividing by the smallest factor that goes into it.

72/2 = 36

36/2 = 18

18/2 = 9

9/3 = 3

3/3 = 1

2 · 2 · 2 · 3 · 3 = 72

The answer is C. 2 · 2 · 2 · 3 · 3

Hope this helps! :)
