Let the entire forest area = x

A % can always be found by dividing by 100

15/100 * x = 235       Multiply by 100

15x = 235                  Divide by 15

x = 235 / 15

x = 1566.7

The forest is 1566.7 acres which is about 2 sections. A section is about 640 acres. If you live in the country it is about 1 mile by 1 mile of land.
