A train travels 51 kilometers in 1 hours, and then 72 kilometers in 5 hours. What is its average speed?

Average speed = Total distance ÷ Total time taken

Total distance = 51km + 72km = 123km

Total time taken = 1hr + 5hrs = 6hrs

Average speed = 123km ÷ 6hrs = 20.5km/hr.
