The process when cell divides is refereed to as mitosis.when a cell has copied all its DNA then the cell normally divides.
Before the mitosis occurs the cell has to replicate its DNA making a copy of each chromosome this phase is referred to as inter-phase while the cell division is referred to as mitosis
