Stearic acid is known as the fatty acid which is in a shape of a long chain. The long chain contains eighteen carbon back bone.
These fatty acids are found in most of the plants and animal’s fat. These fat are considered as very important constituents for cocoa butter and Shea butter.
It is not a steroid because steroid is usually known as chemicals which is man made and also present inside the body commonly known as hormones.
