Answer:

Angiosperm: It is a type of plants which produces flowers and seeds which are enclosed in ovary. Angiosperm is also called flowering plants. Both male part i. e. stamen and female part i. e. carpel are present on the flower of the angiosperm plants. Sperm of male combine with egg of female produce seed.

Evolutionary advantages of Angiosperm :

1) The Angiosperm produces fruits which protects seed.

2) Seed coat provides protection from the external environment.
