(-1,0) is the solution to x+1=0

So what we have so far is (x+3)(x+1)=y

Now we do (x+3)(x+1)*?=y

(-5+3)(-5+1)*x=-16

(-2)(-4)*x=-16

8*x=-16

So the equation is y=(x+3)(x+1)*-2 which is y=-2x^2-8x-6
