2(x+7)^2 = 64
2(x+7) = +8/-8

2(x+7) = (+8)                         2(x+7) = (-8)
x+7     = (+4)                             x+7  = (-4)
x         = (+4) - 7                        x      = (-4) - 7
x         = -3                                 x     = -11
