we can apply the rules of trigonometry to determine the integral of the function: The exponent is added by 1 and the function is multiplied by the reciprocal of the added power. Hence, 
y' = sqrt (1-cosx)y  = (2/3) (1 - cos x )^ (3/2) *(x - sin x) y  = (2/3) *(x - sin x) (1 - cos x )^ (3/2)
