∵ they’re independent

∴ P(A ∩ B ) = P(A) x P(B)

and means ∩
so P(A and B) = P(A ∩ B) = P(A) x P(B) = 54 x 82 = 4428

if P(A) = 82 and P(B) = 54
then the answer is 4428

if P(A) = 0.82 and P(B) = 0.54
then the answer is 0.4428
