Answer:

A coefficient is the number in front of the letter/variable.

A constant is just a number.

Example:

In [tex]6x[/tex], the coefficient is [tex]6[/tex].

But if there is no variable for example [tex]3[/tex], then the constant is [tex]3[/tex].
