Homework is needed for students to practice the material they are learning. The more you practice each new concept, the better you get at it, and the faster you do it. By practicing a lot, you also end up memorizing the way to solve problems.

Homework is helpful in moderation. Too much can be stressful, but small increments allow us to retain information for longer amounts of time.
