Answer:

Current drawn = 0.417 A (rounded to 3 significant figures)

Resistance = 576Ω (rounded to 3 significant figures)

Explanation:

Current = Power ÷ Voltage

Current = 100W / 240V

∴ Current = 0.416666666.... = 0.417A

Resistance = Voltage ÷ Current

Resistance = 240 ÷ 0.417

∴ Resistance = 575.539 = 576Ω
