Apply the distributive property. 5 (2x) +5 (−3y) + 5 ⋅ 4

Multiply 2 by 5

10x + 5 ( − 3y ) + 5 ⋅ 4

Multiply  −3 by 5     10x − 15y + 5 ⋅ 4

Multiply  5 by 4

Answer: 10x −15y + 20

Tip: The sign   "⋅"  means multiply
