The sum of two numbers is 144 and the difference is 81. What are the two numbers?

a + b = 144
a - b = 81
-----------------add
2a = 225
a = 225/2
a = 112.50

a - b = 81
112.50 - b= 81
-b = 81 - 112.50
-b = -31.50
b = 31.50

so ur numbers are : 112.50 and 31.50
