we know that

The standard form of the equation of the line is

[tex] Ax + By = C [/tex]

we have

[tex] y = \frac{1}{6}x + 4 [/tex]

Multiply by [tex] 6 [/tex] both sides

[tex] 6y = x+24 [/tex]

Subtract x both sides

[tex] -x+6y = 24 [/tex]

therefore
