World War One was a huge turning point into history due to the technology being used and vast amounts of manpower these countries fought with. The new technology such as weaponized planes and huge tanks were first used in World War One and industries produced en masse for the war effort. This was the first ever a massive war had broke out with this much equipment and manpower.
