Write the equation of the line that has a slope of 4/5 and a y-intercept of -8.

The equation of any staright line can be written as y = mx + c , where m is its slope and c is its y - intercept . hence, equation of line with slope = 4/5 and y - intercept = -8 is,

→ y = 4/5x - 8

→ m - c = 4/5 + 8 = 12/5
