Macrophanges. Macrophanges act through phagocytosis which is engulfing and ingesting the target organism.

Monocytes

Monocytes are the white blood cells that are found in almost all tissue in the human body. Monocytes move into tissues and engulf and digest cells and foreign substances in a process known as phagocytosis. After monocytes have ingested cells, hydrolytic enzymes that destroy pathogens is being secreted by lysosomes within the monocytes.
