3-2= Here you are taking away 2 from 3
2/3= Here you are taking that two and breaking it down into 3 smaller groups of numbers----Example: If you have 2 apples and you are serving 3 people, you will cut the apple into slices and distribute the slices evenly into 3 little ziploc bags.
