Select ( -4,-1)
Where h=-4
K=-1
y=a(x-h)^2+k
We get
y=a(x-(-4))^2+ -1
Y= a(x+4)^2+-1
Now replace to 0,7
7=a(0+4)^2-1
7=a(4)^2-1
7=16a-1
So now
7=16a-1
7+1=16a
8=16a
a=8/16
That should 1/2
So y=a(x+4)^2 -1
Should become
Y=1/2(x+4)^2 -1
