2. Would be 16, because if they won 12 games and they gave you the ratio 3/4, the 3 represents the games won, and the 4 represents the games played. So if you multiply the numerator by a number to get 12, which ends up to be 4, you have to multiply the denominator by 4 as well. Therefore, you would get 12 out of 16 games won. All you had to do is simplify up.
