The key regions of the Western Roman Empire are Italia, Gaul, Gallia Belgica, and Hispania. Italia is now known as Modern Italy, Gaul is now commonly known as France. Gallia Belgica now consists of three countries, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Lastly, Hispania now consists of modern Spain and Portugal.
