9*9=81
9+9+9+9

The rug is 81 feet^2 which means that to find the perimeter you must find the second length. 81/the length you know(9)
you could also use the fact that it is a square and all sides are the same length
The perimeter is all sides added. 9*4 or 9+9+9+9

Answer; 36 feet
