A garden pond = circle

Perimeter of a circle formula: [tex]2 \pi r[/tex]

r = radius

wide = diameter

[tex] \frac{diameter}{2} [/tex] = radius

r = [tex] \frac{wide}{2} [/tex]

Area of a circle formula: [tex] \pi r^2[/tex]

Plug in:
[tex] \pi ( \frac{6}{2} )^2[/tex]
[tex]9 \pi [/tex]
