you would multiply negative on by -10x+5y=30 to get 10x-5y=-30
-10x-8y=30
10x-5y=-30

-13y=0
-13y/-13=0/-13
y=0
then you would plug y into -10x+5y =30
to get 10x=30
10x/10=30/10
x=3
 the point would be (3,0)
