Greetings!

"How do I find the surface area of a right circular cone?"...

The formula to find the surface area of a right cone is :
[tex]=\pi r(r+ \sqrt h^2+r^2)[/tex]

Lets it out:
[tex]r=5[/tex] and [tex]h=12[/tex]

[tex]=\pi(5)((5)+ \sqrt (12)^2+(5)^2)[/tex]
Follow PEDMAS.
[tex]=\pi(5)((5)+ \sqrt 169)[/tex]
[tex]=\pi(5)((5)+ 13)[/tex]
[tex]=\pi(5)(18)[/tex]
[tex]=15.7079633(18)[/tex]
[tex]=282.743339[/tex]

The SA of the cone would be 282.743339.

Hope this helps.
