if 1/3*q-5>0 then

|1/3*q-5|=1/3*q-5
1-|1/3*q-5|=-6
1-(1/3*q-5)=-6
1-1/3*q+5=-6
6-1/3*q=-6
-1/3*q=-12
q=36

else

|1/3*q-5|=-(1/3*q-5)
1-|1/3*q-5|=-6
1+(1/3*q-5)=-6
1+1/3*q-5=-6
-4+1/3*q=-6
1/3*q=-2
q=-6
