Leptin is a satiety factor that acts to suppress neuropeptide y and stimulate msh release.

A hormone that is produces by the cells of body’s fat is leptin and is also known as "satiety hormone" or the "starvation hormone." The primary goal of leptin is in the brain, mainly an area which is known as hypothalamus.
