What is the slope of a line that passes through the points (-2, 4) and (-6, 12)?

We can use the formula y2-y1/x2-x1 to find the answer. Therefore, we have: 12-4/ -6-(-2). That gets us 8/-6+2 = 8/-4= -1/2. The answer is 3.
