the stage  of  identity  and  role  confusion is  the  state in  which teenager  do  not  understand  their strength  and weakness. teenager  asked him/herself "who  am  l" question.The  teen  at  these  stage   focuses  on  developing  a  sense  of  self,  figuring  out who  are  they, what they  believe  in  and  what  they want  to  become.
