they are both based on the belief that your actions affect your luck. For reincarnation, if you do good things, you will be reincarnated as a good creature and karma is based on the belief that your action
s will result in something good or bad happening to you
The beilief is that if you do something good you have good Karma or you reincarnate to something good and have a good life!  And that that good actions bring good luck! Hope that helps! :)
