Because the conteient on it, the swearing, bad pictures, and more.
Now its not always bad but it needs to be limited and always keepen track of. 
People could get fooled in social media. Sometimes they could be robbed because they post stuffs that attract robbers. These are just some reason why social media should be monitored.
