This it the formula for the volume of a cone: V = (π)(r^2)(h/3) r is the radius (measured from the center of the cone base to the edge of the base) h is the height of the cone from the center of the base to the top If the radius is doubled, the equation becomes: V = (π)((2r)^2)(h/3) This can be simplified to V = (π)(4r^2)(h/3), so the new volume will be 4 times the original volume.
