The  number  of  moles  of monoprotic   needed  to  neutralize   8  moles     Ca(Oh)2    is  calculated  as  follows

write  an  example  of   equation  for  reaction

that  is,   Ca(OH)2  + 2  HNo3  =  Ca(NO3)2  +  2H2O

by  use  of  mole  ratio  between  Ca(OH)2   to   HNO3  which  is  1:2 therefore  the  moles  of   Acid  =   2  x  8moles  =  16moles
